Summary of recommendations: Housing habitability

The Commission recommends that the Government:

• consider extending the Housing Warrant of Fitness system to apply to all rental properties
• that all other social housing providers take the necessary measures to ensure the available social housing is suitable for individual tenants needs and includes a range of housing stock, one to five bedroom units.
