The government and the disability sector are working together to change the way Deaf and disabled people and their families get support.
This is happening so that Deaf and disabled people and their families will have more choice and control over their supports.
The forum for Deaf and disabled people is a good place to hear from a speaker who has a disability, and have your say about how you think Enabling Good Lives should be.
There will be New Zealand Sign Language interpreters at the forum.
The forum will be from 12.00-1.30pm on March 16 with Hamilton City Youth Councillor Timothy Folkema, Tim has autism and vision impairment.
The forum will be held at the Anglesea Tower, Corner of Anglesea and Collingwood Streets (above the old Farmers building), Level 9, Whetu Marama Room, Hamilton.
