Hello and welcome to our last update for 2021!
What a year it has been! COVID-19 has provided some big challenges,
but despite this we've still been able to achieve some fantastic wins in the world of
accessibility.
In this update, we’re sharing a couple of blogs to brighten your summer. In the
first, some of the Be. Team look back at the year, and celebrate the thing that has
most inspired each of us in our work in 2021. In the second, we’re giving you some
top tips for an accessible Christmas and summer holiday.
We’re also calling for students who have just finished their tertiary studies to apply
for our awesome Paid Internship programme in the new year.
Our team will be taking a break from 22 nd December till 5 th January. In 2022, we’ll
be launching into some exciting new accessibility projects, and we invite you to join
us in making Aotearoa New Zealand the most accessible country in the word!
But for now, we’d like to wish you all a peaceful and merry Christmas – stay safe
and well, and enjoy a relaxing break after a challenging year.
